As Hand Picked Hotels celebrates our 21st year, CEO Julia Hands introduces our first issue of Hand Picked magazine
I am enormously proud of our professionals in all areas of hospitality. As an industry that has suffered a great deal in the last few years, the hospitality venues and the partners and suppliers who work alongside them, have all fought hard to keep going regardless of the challenges they have faced. Our fantastic team and the incredible support from our guests has kept our doors open and our spirits high.
We have pulled together, as we always have. We have innovated, adapted and connected more than we ever thought we could. During periods of lockdown, we opened up our grounds to the local communities and offered take away services and home deliveries. When we re-opened, we welcomed dogs into our hotels for the first time, introduced new contactless digital solutions and kept those all-important touchpoints with our guests – both virtual and in person – very much alive.
This is an industry like no other, with so much to experience, share and enjoy. I am therefore delighted to introduce you to our first Hand Picked magazine as we celebrate our 21st year.
